To begin with a facebook page was created. Subashri added her family and friends who knew crochet and within no time 1000 ladies joined the group and started knitting. “It was an amazing experience. I just started a face book page and within no time we saw 1000 women joining hands. Slowly, the number multiplied and we turned into a group of 2500 knitters. We even got request from women outside India. However we could not take them as per the rules. However, I am sure we will join hands with women across the globe and spread the art of crochet and knitting”, beamingly said Subashri.
