Sindhu takes Olympic revenge; beats Carolina in BWF Super Series

In a classic turn of tables, Olympic Silver medalist Sindhu has finally avenged her loss and has muscled out the Olympic Gold medalist Carolina Marin with  21-17, 21-13 win to enter Semi finals of BWF Super Series Finals tournament, which is being held in Dubai.
The 46-minute long clash with the Rio rival was nail biting and seemed like a must-win for Sindhu after she lost her second Group-B match to Sun Yu of China. She lost 15-21, 17-21 to the Chinese player who ranks 6th in the world ladder.
A former World No. 1 Marin tried to play an aggressive fast-paced game and pumped herself with each point, but Sindhu showing tremendous grit and determination nerves emerged victorious.
With this win, Sindhu finished in the second place behind China’s Sun Yu, who won all the three matches, in Group B.

STREE heartily congratulates P V Sindhu and are confident that the next match in Dubai will also be a win.
